Alright, now given there seems to be a perpetual attraction with anything "retro", this isn't a complete surprise. But it is still a very cool expiriment (let alone a thesis). There really is something tactile missing from this whole computer enterprise. If there were an old typewriter and a not-quite-as-old keyboard sitting on a desk or table, how many people would have to fight the temptation to punch a few keys on the typewriter. And how many would feel the need to punch keys on the keyboard? (I'm guessing considerably less, but that's just a SWAG.)
I wonder if I can use this is architecture somehow...
