I think it is.

Recovery disk my ass.

So...Nathan somehow managed to kill my gateway (he insists it was broken when he started to use it). Suuuure. It was fine before he touched it.

Anyrate. He tells me that when he looked at the screen, it said something about corrupted antivirus files. He rebooted. Then it wouldn't boot back into windows...just vertical hashmarks across the bottom and then a message (after it did some hard thinking) about missing kernel DLLs.

Hmm.

Okay, so I found my recovery disk six days later.

Instructions are to insert disk, restart computer, follow on screen instructions.

I have a blank screen.

I wonder if these mysterious instructions are written in invisible computer ink.

Maybe you should soak the computer in lemon juice.

edit: Or um... seeing as how I've googled invisible ink now and what I remember is wrong... Maybe you should iron the computer.

Yeah, lemon juice IS the invisible ink. It doesn't reveal it.

*suddenly feels like an idiot*

Why didn't you stab me on Monday and tell me to send those CD's to you!?

I forgot. But it's okay, I found the blue disk!

Don't blame me for your faulty hardware. And celia, if it happened to be me that got you that blue screen, you deserve it for those sock puppets.
