Depending on the virus, your address is stored on someone's computer who is infected.

There are other possibilities, but that strikes me as the most likely culprit.

Except they're all from random addresses I don't recognize.

The viruses will often 'spoof' the addresses anyway, so that's not a good indicator of who they are from.
