Don't worry. It's a totally clothed event. In fact, to ensure comfort, they have a series of steps in the beginning:
quote:People then get in a circle on their hands and knees, rub shoulders and moo like cows.

Sounds like fun. Heard about something similar happening in São Paulo (Brazil's biggest city. Near Rio de Janeiro) 1 year ago or so.

Oh come on, Banna. It could be your crowning moment as an organizer. Just imagine thirty hatrackers mooing at your behest.

On the social-commentary side, I think this is a step forward for people to connect with each other as human beings.

This also reminds me of a friend of mine who went to BYU-Idaho and told me about "kissing tag" that he and his friends had invented. I pretty much told him it was not as innocent as he claimed.

Actually given the ground rules of the cuddling thing I think it *could* be done innocently.
Whether it actually *is* done innocently is another question.

I wouldn't be surprised if the ones that the founder does are totally legit and follow the rules exactly. He has a great deal of motivation to keep it clean. I'm sure the 7-minute dating parties make a ton of money through licensing their name and set-up. It sounds like the founder of Cuddle Parties is hoping for the concept to catch on and sponsor licensed versions in other places.

This is like the back rub chains that were popular in college.
