LD,

consider yourself lucky.

it's a good time not to have to vote, and an excellent time to learn about it.

I think I'm going to vote for my high school social studies teacher. At least I know he knows what the Constitution is for.

What's his name? Because I can't just write in "Shigosei's high school social studies teacher."

Luger for president! oh wait, he already lost......

I'll vote this year. For Rio de Janeiro's Mayor, not for American Presidency. Well...is that what this thread is about? Bah...you americans are too egocentric. [Wink]

I live in Indiana, my Presidential vote doesn't count.

So I'm either voting for Dean or McCain, I haven't yet decided. Or perhaps the Easter Bunny.

Bush, while he has done things that have annoyed me...I would much rather having him in office than Kerry.

Posted by Altįriėl of Dorthonion (Member # 6473) on :

I'd rather go for Kerry, Bush has had his go at things, and so far really done much. Besides, I'm a democrat.

if fugu votes for the easter bunny i am voting for the tooth fairy.

Since it seems that Hatrack was once the source of an rather infectious meme (and no, I'm not going to mention it by name), I wonder if we could actually get a write-in candidate to earn enough votes to gain some attention.

I was reading through your post thinking, "Hm.. You know I wish MY high school social studies teacher was electable.... oh wai

Three cheers for Hatrackers who went to the same high school.

[Smile]

That said, I'd really like to go the next four years without Bush. I'll vote Kerry, even though he's not perfect.

I swear, I'm getting cryogenically frozen and leave strict instructions not to be revived until the source of that quote has been uncovered. Damn you Thalia! [Mad]

If I could vote for anyone right now, it would be Dan Quayle. Too bad everyone has discounted his intelligence because of some spelling errors. He is much smarter than most of the people cracking jokes about him. [Frown]

Not to derail further, but the quote reminds me of Roald Dahl.. Hmph.

Carry on with the politics now.

I saw a really good interview of Dan where they asked him whether the Democratcs should expect the same attacks on their VP candidate's youth and inexperience.

I thought he handled that interview with grace and intelligence. [Smile]

I was going to vote Bush but then I saw Michael Moore's Farenheit 9/11 and I changed my mind.

Posted by mr_porteiro_head (Member # 4644) on :

Not only is Quayle smart, but he's a better speller than I am. [Smile]
