Last night a United Airlines plane from Sydney to LA aborted the flight after a possible bomb threat was found - a sick bag with the word BOB written on it.

The staff thought BOB could stand for "Bomb on Board", and followed airline procedure. However it turns out BOB can also mean Best on Board, an acronym used by flight staff.

I just can't help thinking if it was some kid who had just learnt to write their name... never has spelling caused such a reaction!
