I never said you had to follow me to Rivendell (I never said you had to), I never said it would be fun and games when Gandalf fell (I never said...). I'll still go on, don't get me wrong, And you can give me Sting, But don't touch my Ring.
They have told me I can't walk alone to that dark place, Then they tell me I can't take an army along. Ah, but soon me and Sam will be off at our own pace, Either way it's okay, we will end up in songs.
I don't need Mr. Strider around, or that Elf boy, I don't want to let Gollum get too close at all, I don't care to let Boromir come and touch my toy, Would you all find your own quests, and leave me alone?
I never said the Ring would help your city, Boromir (I never said the Ring would), I never said to Sam that we'd be going home from here (I never said...). And Aragorn, don't be forlorn, For you can rule as King But not with my Ring.
