How can they expect this to fly?

Jack Black as Green Lantern???

Guy Gardner was the only mildy interesting GL, so this kind of makes sense.

This is wrong. Wrong and bad.

Augh. Ya know, that's one hell of a strike against a movie to start with.

I'm not a big fan of DC to begin with, but the way they struck their deal with the studio has left their hands tied in every movie they do. Superman looks like he'll be getting a decent treatment from Bryan Singer and the rest of the X2 writing crew, and Batman Begins at least sounds interesting...

But Jack Black doesn't belong anywhere near comic book movies.

Who cares? Green Lantern is a lousy character.

But think about it. Jack Black creating huge green fists and bull dozers.

There's no way GL can be taken seriously.

But the Green Lantern wasn't a comical sort to begin with.

I've yet to see Jack Black as a serious hero - green powers or not.

Augh.

Whoa... Is anyone reading the rest of the site?

A Transformers live-action movie? New Line and Dreamworks tearing each other part to get it, and Spielburg winning? Holy crap!

This is horrible, but it's better than how Catwoman appears.

*cries for those poor abused comic books*

I rate this 2 out of 5 dobie points. 1 point for actually containing a link. 1 point because you might be someone I count on for employment someday.
