Daddy has a doctor's appointment today. Hopefully, the doctor will agree to cut off his leg near the knee. If not, we'll have to lie, cheat, and finagle Daddy into a hospital in another state. Long story, but please send him some good thoughts. Thanks.

And hopefully they can cut below the knee joint instead of above. I have different friends with it both ways -- and they definately retain more mobility if they can keep their knee..

Accident in 2000, this ever since. The infection has almost killed him twice. Once was during a six month round of IV antibiotics that almost shut down his kidneys.
