If you clicked on this thread, I presume you do want to hear me sing. I busted out my microphone tonight for the first time in many, many moons. It isn't much of a microphone, and if I'm going to properly record song lyrics and stuff like that, I'll need a mic stand and a better microphone, but in the meantime I can do stuff like this:

Choral Musings

...which is to say, sing heavily effected harmonies with myself. I realize that the notes aren't exactly pure, but I have a penchant for doing everything in one take and sticking with it, mistakes and all... so you'll have to put up with that if you want to hear me singing. This one is just four vocal tracks, nothing else. One of them has a phaser on it, one has a double echo, and the other two have a mixture of heavy reverb, very mild overdrive, and a mixture of other mild effects that I've used before (on guitars).

I'm starting to toy with the notion of developing a few pieces along the lines of what Sigur Rós do -- I think that's kind of evident in this particular one. So many musical avenues to pursue, so little time...
