So, yea, Lindsay and I had a picnic with Olivia and Ron and the boys at Stone Mountain last night and had a great time. Then they invited us to stay at their house for the night. we did. The next morning we were treated to waffles, bacon, milk and just goodness all around. after crashing cars into other cars for a good while we all went to lunch a little later and were treated to Mexican. So in short i just want to say that Olivia and her family are very gracious hosts and we look forward to repaying the favor. three cheers for nerd girl and family!

that is all.

Ron also just got an xbox and was playing Halo last time I talked to Olivia.

Just another reason why the Fowlers are awesome. [Big Grin]

Wow. Thanks, dude.

Yeah, Ron stayed up 'til 2am playing Halo with Mark. I baked the blueberry pie, but we haven't cut it yet. Sorry I didn't get it done before you had to leave. [Smile]

I'm so confused. Who's Mark? And they are the bestsest host and hostess. I can attest to the yumminess of breakfast.

Mark is Ron's little brother, who now lives with us. He's in his 20s, so not a LITTLE little brother. [Smile]

"Stone Mountain?"

Olive - you're a Georgian? Gawd, I hope so - I'd hate to think someone else might have felt the need to name a huge chunk of rock "stone mountain."

That's like "wet water".

I'm in Georgia, yeah.

I think they call it Stone Mountain because most of the mountains around here have more dirt and stuff on them. Stone mountain s basically a huge effing rock. I mean, I can't imagibe somebody seeing it and NOT saying, "Hey, that's a big rock!"

Woo-hoo, that makes three of us. [Big Grin]

Four. Don't Forget Lindsay.

Yeah, I may be a new Georgian, but I'm here.

And Olivia and Ron are a couple of my favorite people ever, and definitely some of the best hosts I've ever had. [Smile]

Although I think my very favorite part of the weekend was four-year-old Liam asking me to come stay at his house "for one-hundred days." Olivia's boys always make me smile.

You want hospitality? Come on out to the Tetons, and I'll take ya straight to the top, and let you think you climbed it all by yerself.

Am I Ron's little brother?!

Oh wait, I don't live in Georgia.

*waves*

can i sing modest mouse songs while i climb the tetons?

Are you kidding? I asked Olivia to adopt me.

The one and only Uncle Mark now inhabits Nescho's vacated room. He has a lot of diverting game stuff that the boys are always trying to wheedle him into playing with them, and an extensive collection of goofy Anime that I'm trying to wheedle him to share. [Smile]

(The not-call-ness is duly forgiven, chica [Wink] )

I keep reading "hostess" as "hotness". [Eek!]

But, that's Ralphie -- not Olivetta. [Wink]

Posted by katharina (Member # 827) on :

Have you seen Olivia? It is a very understandable and accurate mixup.

Posted by BlueJacsFan (Member # 6590) on :

Nope. Haven't seen her, but I seem to only hear "hotness" associated with Ralphie around here. I thought she had a monopoly on it. [Dont Know]

Posted by mr_porteiro_head (Member # 4644) on :

I have seen pictures of neither.

Posted by Olivetta (Member # 6456) on :

I in no way approach the hottness of the esteemed Ralphie and her porn star look [rack [Wink] ], but I do have some cute kids. [Smile]

"Cute" I am. "Hot" I am not. [Big Grin]

Fixed. Just a pic from a hike we went on overt the Fourth. All sweaty and non-hot (at least in one sense). And boy making funny faces. [Smile]

Olivia is a dead ringer for Liv Tyler. Kid you not. She is TOTALLY a MILF. Well, not for me. But the boys and some girls. [Wink]

i'm gonna have to disagree.

Joey Lauren Adams is up there. as is the chick from AMELIE...

oh, and i guess, then there is my girl...

CT, you should know that Liam was also telling his mom to go pick you up so that you could stay at his house for one-hundred days, too. [Smile]

Jamie, CT-- Y'all are big fat liars and I love you very, very much! [Big Grin]

*does NOT look like Liv Tyler, and they were lookin' at YOU, babe*

Ophelia is indeed lovely, though. Good thing she's not into younger men, 'cause Ben would have some serious competition from Liam. [Smile]

Actually, I do see a "elf with goofy sword" similarity. [Big Grin]

And while Liv Tyler doesn't really do it for me, Olive is terminally cute.
