*reads article* EEP! I never heard why he went off the air.

I still remember his admonitions on pre-ground pepper: "Don't you do it!"

Plus, he had a recipe for making herbed cheese by pressing cottage cheese I've always meant to try.

He taught me how to make something that became what I usually have to break a fast -- a cinnamon-apple omelet. Light, yet filling.

His show was great.

I loved his polish recipes - I'll have to pick up some of his books.

Yup - that's why my local cookbook person at Barnes and Noble refused to stock his books.

[Frown] I always really enjoyed his show. I didn't know why he went off the air, either...I just figured he retired.

Gawd, I hope he didn't get cremated - can you imagine the headlines?

I was sad when he went off the air, and sadder when I found out why.

Dag, you can make a pressed cheese with yogurt. Just dump some in a colander lined with a few layers of cheese cloth. Cover it lightly and put it in the fridge overnight. Add herbs.

This really saddens me, I always enjoyed his show and I've got one of his cookbooks.

Even after all these years, I still can't bring myself to fully believe he did what he was accused of.

Sopwith,
I feel the same way, but I know he did it.

A professor at my college did this. It was really creepy when it all came out in the open.

"I feel the same way, but I know he did it."

How?

Tom, I just do, after reading about the situation, and the fact that he paid off his accusers instead of standing trial.

No, he was never formally found guilty. Yes, I can still believe he was guilty. Just exercising my prerogative to have an opinion.

What is YOUR opinion?
