I took my daughter fishing yesterday evening. We were having a nice time together. Anna and I traded off catching pan sized bass out of this beautiful old quarry turned lake.
We had four 1 1/2 to 2 pounders when I caught the fifth fish. I went to pull the stringer out of the water and only 2 of the original four fish remained. I saw part of a mangled bass stuggling feebly in the weeds nearby. Damn poaching turtles anyway!
We released the 3 we had managed to maintain possesion of back into the lake. All in all we had a wonderful father/daughter outing.

So it is like a new novel:
"The Middle-aged Man and the Pond."

Something fishy going on, Punwit? (no pun intended).

I suppose someone could have been playing a shell game with me instead. Find the missing fishies.
It's hard turtle what might have absconded with our catch.

The last time I was fishing my family and I were out for the whole day, tried a ton of different places, and still went home empty-handed. Not that I'd want to touch a dead fish.

I now have the opportunity to share some photos with any that are interested. Here is a shot of my beautiful daughter, Anna, displaying our catch. Those with dial-up be warned, these are large files.

Punwit, I can't get to the picture and it is driving me mad!

I thought I could share photo's from my yahoo briefcase but apparently only other yahoo users can access those files. Sorry to have added to your frustration factor. Do you have a yahoo account?

I have a Yahoo account, and I'm signed on, and it still won't let me get to the link either.
