Dear fallow-
I am a romantic at heart and a spiritual, liberal by practice. I didn't want to become an unpleasant guest in our host's "livingroom".

This is a place full of real and loving people. I never want to get to the point that my words "unmake" those that are precious to me.

When I can be more accepting of the more conservative views, I'll be back. In the meantime, I am basking in the wonder that is John and Jacob (my sons). They are amazing and always new.

Fallow- Thank you for the thoughts.

Christine is one of the most amazing people ever to be on this forum. Her presence is sorely missed.

I need to e-mail her more often. I'm a bad friend. :/

She was in MI the same time I was, near where my parents are retiring to...lol..

She is back now, fallow.

Mooselet and I always sing two songs before he goes to sleep at night. He chose both of them tonight (he usually lets me pick the second one). The first was his old standby -- the alphabet song. The second was an improvisation of his, which went like this:

Ladydove, Ladydove
She has a water slide
Ladydove, Ladydove
She is fun

So it's substantiated now -- Ladydove is, in fact, cool. (Like there was ever a doubt.)

As if there was a doubt..

*heart melts into sloppy puddle*

As if it were possible, Mooselet is getting even more adorable. He is incredibly confident and outgoing, yet still sooooo sweet. I wish I had gotten the chance to watch him go down the slide!

*sends mental hug and smooch to Carl*

Pop, I should let you know that Timmy is a thief. He stole Maria's heart and she wants it back.

Anti-Christ - It was nice to meet you too. Come again and EAT next time. [Kiss]

You guys sounded awesome when you were singing.

We'll have to have another get together soon. I promise not to let Paul invite the whole city next time.

I can relate, LadyDove. I've been so sparse in my posting and sporadic in my reading of late (to the point that I don't even know who is here and who is not) mainly because I have a hard time feeling welcome in our hosts' "livingroom". I've really been at odds with myself over this and though I haven't made a concious decision to stay away I find myself coming here less and less.
