Yeah, he's 6'3" now and weighs 180 soaking wet. But he was really fat till he was about 5. Really, he was so fat, that we have no pictures of him with his eyes open until he was over 6 months old. Too fat to open your eyes is kind of sad. But cute in a puppy doggish way.

You know, I just realized that I've always been a trend setter. I wore pastels in the 80s about 2 years before they were "hot." I wore black and red before it was popular. Now, I realize that I was wearing red white and blue all the way back in 1971. That's a good 3-4 years ahead of the trend. Not bad for a 5 year-old.

Believe it or not, Kayla looks pretty much the same these days. The proportions are different, of course, but she's a spitting image of her five-year-old self.

Farmgirl, I was trying to figure that out the other day! If you figure it out, let me know.

(You know, the thing that always screws me up is that I can't just just subtract the year I was born from the current year. I was only here a few days before it became a whole new year, so that formula only works on the last couple of days of the year. What a pain in the butt.)
