I've used duct tape on the outside of an existing wallet, and seen other other guys using duct-taped wallets, but I never imagined that you could start with just duct tape.

I have a friend who has been making duct tape wallets for years (10+). They aren't half bad to start, but they get pretty nasty by the end (even with constant repairs).

A girl at a play had made a duct tape purse. very cool. I asked her to see it. She had made little inserts for pictures.
When I told that story at work, someone said there are duct tape festivals/contests.

I had a friend who upholstered her couch with duct tape. Did a phenomenal job too; it looked really cool, and lasted for years.

there were some kids at my school a few years ago that had a duct tape prom dress and tux, it was really cool, the guy wore his tux to school not just to prom.

I have a friend who made a duct tape wallet. And another who made a bracelet, and colored it camo with Sharpies. Ahhh, duct tape and Sharpies. What more can you ask for?

My sister is in the Peace Corps. She writes that everything in her life is held together with duct tape: her shoes, her refrigerator, her chairs, her couch, her oven, her brassiere ...

"Ahhh, duct tape and Sharpies. What more can you ask for?"
Tarps and bungie cords. With those four things, I could rule the world!

The best use for duct tape still applies to yapping children and small dogs - in that order.
