Anyone know side effects from it, aside from soreness at the area and possible mild fever?

Cranky whining for the rest of the day.

At least, that's what my kids did. [Wink]

Get on AIM. [Wink]

See...I'm exhausted still. And SHOULDN'T be. I took two naps yesterday. Then slept from 3AM till 2:30PM today.

My head hurts through 20mg of bextra. I'm very aware of my throat. My neck hurts.

No fever though.

Can't. At the library.

Feel better!

I had it so long ago (like 10 years ago) that I don't remember the side effects anymore. I don't remember anything awful happening because of it though.

Info on the HepA/B combo vaccine

Looks like "fatigue" is a common side effect.

Ok, from here:
quote:
These milder side effects could include redness, warmth or slight swelling where the needle was given, tiredness or a slight fever. More serious reactions include difficulty breathing, swelling of the face or mouth, a fever higher than 39 degrees Celcius, hives or a rash.

...and headache, for that matter. But for HOW LONG?!

Posted by ludosti (Member # 1772) on :

When did you get it?

I'd imagine a few days would be normal...

Posted by mackillian (Member # 586) on :

I got it friday morning.

This was a harder question -- most used words like "short time" and "temporary" -- which are fairly useless.

However, this one specifies:
quote:
These reactions subside within a few hours or days.
Five days, hmm? Might be a bit long to be the vaccine. Maybe you're getting a cold?

The last time I had a cold, I was in middle school.

Sounds like you're due then. [Frown]

But I don't have a fever. Or the sniffles. *confused*

Or a mom to whine to.

Perhaps you have been infected with a small alien!

Jamiedear, I volunteer to be your Mom From Far Away. I wish I could coddle you with dark chocolate and a snuggly blankie. For now, you must content yourself with *hugs*.

Fever? With a cold? I never do. And sometimes the sniffles come after the sore throat.

*has a thought* The water in the baptismal font wasn't chlorinated, was it?

Anyway, regardless of what it is that ails you (which I hope fixes itself toot sweet), I join kat and jexx in the *hugs*.

You could turn on AIM so I can whine.
