I just had to make a dozen truffles to auction off at this Sunday's Chocolate Sunday fundraiser. But, oh, my recipe makes about 15. I did not need the extra calories right now, but it's a sin to let food go to waste.

Ummmh truffles and you didn't share with us?
My Mum and Dad went to a charity auction and bid on and won a huge chocolate cake. As my Dad is diabetic they decided they'd better cut it up and share it rather than bring it all home. Did they bring me one teenie piece - no! Thats what I sacrificed.

Yes, I agree. Sacrifices must be made. I selflessly givd up my diet every Sunday, in order to help the church by eating egg salad sandwiches and baked beans.

Um, how does eating egg salad sandwiches and baked beans help the church? Unless that's your way of giving larger fast offerings, maybe.
Otherwise, you do it after church, don't you? Because beans are the musical fruit...and eggs should just make it worse. No gas shortage there, eh?

Rain, I am like the soldier who jumps on the grenade in order to save his mates. If I eat more eggs and beans, less families have to suffer hours later.
