Hmmm. I have no idea what this topic's title meant for sure. I'm interpreting it as "I just laid down my motorcycle for the first time." If so, congratulations! Everyone lays their bike down (or "spills") at least once.

There had been a light rain 30 min before. My scooter slid out from under me, sending me sliding along the asphalt.

Oh, okay. Well I'm relieved this loss of control didn't result in a collision with any other vehicles. You are too young to pop your "run over by a zamboni" cherry.
