Can anyone tell me what time it is in California right now? It's daylight savings right? 3pm?

Well at least it's not my fault this time. Got a phone interview with ILM but only getting my contact's voice mail. Last time they just told me the time but I didn't account for their daylight savings and missed the interview.

What happened? Did you get stood up by somebody you were supposed to interview with?

I'm doing an interview with theVFX supervisor for Van Helsing, so now just sitting here at home, way too early to be up, waiting for Industrial Light & Magic to call me back....

I think they already finished the work on that movie...

Yeah, I know, but it's only just been released here - the magazine I freelance for does articles on computer graphics and animation and this is one of the big movies.... this month....

In fact, this is the only time I've ever done an interview where I've actually managed to see the movie first!
My articles on X-Men 1 & 2, Matrix Reloaded & Revolutions, Hulk and pretty much every other major vfx movie to date have been done entirely without the benefit of actually seeing the vfx before writing about it.. heh.
