Just wanted to share some good news for a change. Last night I got a call from our athletic director. I have been interviewing for the head coach and program director's job for the High School Wrestling team. He offered me the job and I accpeted. I've been working towards a team of my own for a few years now. Very good news. [Smile]

You seem like such a great father from your posts, I have no doubt you are a good coach as well!

Well I'm not the worst father in the world and really I hope to be a good coach. I have coached a middle school team for two years and really enjoyed it and had great relationships with the kids and parents. This is going to be a huge challenge though. The team is a breath away from being cut. There have only been about five kids on average on the team the last five years. There are fifteen weight classes in high school so, that makes victories tough to come by. But I look at it as an exciting challenge and can't wait to get started . No resting on someone elses accomplishments, anything I do and any success we have will be directly related to my efforts. Awesome.
