I am in a bit of a quandry, my wife and I have completely forgotten and lost (during a switch in PDAs) my sister-in-law's birthday (my brother's wife) and there's really noone we can ask without it getting back to her. Is there an online service that you can look up people's birthdates?

It has me, my father, and the one other friend I tried.

Though it does have all of our zip codes wrong.

Have someone they don't know (like a willing Hatracker, for example) send an e-mail with enough info to indicate that they're honestly asking on behalf of someone too embarrassed to have lost the date, but not so much that they can identify the person as you. Is your sister-in-law cruel enough to give someone the wrong date specifically to find out who it was who didn't know?

Is it that big a deal to have lost the info anyway? Why is it that you can't just ask?
