I'm trying to find the old school Star Wars ringer T-shirts. They used to be available, but I can't seem to find them anywhere now. I've checked sites and found some t-shirts available in the ringer style, but they're not the classic vintage ones, and those are the ones I want.
If anyone knows any sites or catalogues that I could find them on/in, it would be much appreciated.

It that's not what you're looking for, try eBay.

Is there ANY fashion question she cannot answer? Posted by Strider (Member # 1807) on :
heh...I found that one too Mrs. M.
it's that style, but that shirt seems to be trying to copy the original ones, while missing something that i can't quite place.
but thanks for looking. i'll check out ebay and see what i can find.
i'm kicking myself for not buying the shirts years ago when i knew where to get them! Posted by Mrs.M (Member # 2943) on :
mac and vwiggin -
BTW, if there is a fashion question I cannot answer, my mama can.
Strider, I can vouch for the quality of 80stees. OTOH, there is something about an original. Try emailing the 80stees guy - he might know where to steer you and he's really nice.
Give some time to look around and see what I can find. I do love a challenge.

i love that the first thing you see on the homepage is a star wars t-shirt. Posted by Primal Curve (Member # 3587) on :
As to the 80's tees T-shirt, I'd say the logo needs to be just an inch or so higher on the shirt. Also, I think the rings could be a little darker and less teal-ish - more blue is good. It could probably use a couple of grass stains and a couple dozen runs through the dryer.
