*sigh*

Not only is he fantastic actor, as proven time and time again, but...

Wow! Johnny Depp in a tuxedo. [Big Grin]

Unfortunately, Tony is away right now, so he can't enjoy the benefits Johnny Depp confers on a relationship ( Chris put it best ).

However, I did ring him up to inform him that if offered, I probably would run away with Johnny Depp. [Smile] (It's a clause in the relationship: I think he's chosen Kiera Knightly as his running away with possibility.)

So yes... Johnny Depp. So much yummier than any of those Lord of the Rings guys...

*sigh*

Yes, quite attractive. However, I'd be a little disturbed about having a relationship with a man who has so obviously made some sort of deal with the devil. He looked about 17 last night.

But I love the hobbits! Dominic Monahan is yummy in RL.

Whenever I hear about Johnny Depp, all I can think about is the eighties, and that decade left me with the unshakable impression that he is a putz. He probably isn't, but that's what the eighties did to people who lived through them.

I just put it down to good make-up....

{Edit: the youthful appearance, not the putz-ness}

Of course, if his characters are to believed, a deal with the devil is not out of the question.

{Edit again: What is a putz, anyhow?}

Wasn't Dominic Monihan on a BBC mystery show? Hetty Wainthrop or something. I liked his earnestness. I do like a fine young earnest man.

If that picture looks 17, I must be prepubescent...

And thus, the forumla is proved yet again.

Wow, Johnny Depp should be in a police drama about cops who go undercover as high school students [Wink]

P.S. I took a bio of him from the Sunday Comics to my daughter's school as supplemental reading material. Unfortunately, I didn't read it first, and it turns out he dropped out of high school. So maybe that's why he doesn't age.

Michael J. Fox dropped out of highschool, too. He got his G.E.D. later, though. He's another one of those young-looking actors.

I lurv Johnny Depp. He was exceedingly nice to the young actress from Waverider in one of the pre-interview segments (she wanted to meet him, and the interviewer made it happen--J.Depp expressed his admiration of the young lady's performance in the movie, very gracious, very yummmmy).
Sometimes I question J.Depp's acting choices, but I love watching him in interviews. He's very quiet and eloquent. Sexxy!

I'll shut up now, as I am gushing.

[Blushing]

Hehe, I drove my dad nuts... every single time the "hobbits" were on the screen, I jumped up on the couch and yelled "HOBBITSES!" in my best gollum impression (which unfortunately isn't very good). It was so funny, he wanted to smack me so hard! [Evil Laugh]

But yes, I adore Johnny Depp. [Big Grin] My mom did her masters on him, on film in general, but focused on Johnny Depp. *drool* [Hail]

I LUV Johnny Depp too, but I don't think he looks seventeen in that picture! Maybe it's just me, but I think he looks more like in his twenties or something, but not seventeen........of course, I'm around seventeen-year-olds all the time too, so that may contribute to my thinking he doesn't look that young.

Ivygirl, he's 40. Can you believe that?

Katharina, how right you are! Johnny Depp did indeed make a deal with the devil, as seen in Roman Polanski's The Ninth Gate. [Evil]

Oh my goodness!! [Eek!] I had no idea he was 40!!! [Dont Know] I never looked up how old he was, but I thought he was in his thirties or something. Good grief, people look younger all the time. But maybe that's a good thing.............. [Big Grin]

*swoons*

I was a little shocked by how he looked yesterday (haircut, and NO facial hair?!) at first, but after getting over the initial surprise I decided I love it. (Especially in that picture, imogen! [Smile] ) Really, Johnny Depp can't do wrong by me (with his looks anyway).

*swoons some more*
