I 'got' all of them, and all but a few applied to me.

Oh, and speaking of JEM... she's still truly outrageous.

Dude, like this thread is so totally gender unbiased - not! Like any self respecting dude would ever watch My Little Pony or the Care Bears or wear skirts (and especially not with tights under them - my boys gotta breathe!).

And how did Eruve who's only like 16 or so get so many of these right? We gotta stop airing those "I love the 80's" shows! They're giving away all our cool secrets! And when did we find out He-Man and She-Ra were related? I musta missed that episode - though the similary of their swords kinda gives it away. Teela was so friggin' hot!

When you spelled "psyche", I heard the phonetical "sighk' eeee" which made me wonder why talking about the mind was so popular. Then I realized you meant "Sike".

My favorite saying of the 80s was "Face!" and you acted like you were dragging a clawed hand over your face. It was s'posed to mean that you had totally made the other person look bad. Maybe some thing to do with "losing face" or saying "in your face". Anyways, it was really retarded, like most great fads.

Hypercolor shirts were so cool! Whenever someone wore one, we'd rush up and slap them until until their shirt completely changed color, leaving them standing there with the crap beaten out of them.

This test is skewed dramatically towards people who were eight-year-old girls in the '80s. [Smile]

I consider myself an eighties kid, because that was when I actually paid attention to what was going on around me. I was born in 1973, but remember almost nothing about the seventies as such.

I remember most of the things on the list, but at the time most of them were things that were lame because only little kids went for them. In other words, the things on the list are either late-eighties, or marketed to quite young children in the eighties.

My list of eighties stuff would include very few of the things on that list.

Posted by Jeni (Member # 1454) on :

That's because it's actually a "Late eighties, early nineties" list. [Smile]

I don't watch that show.
I would've gotten more questions, but since I didn't go to public school I didn't get into as many fads.
