Last week here at the University of South Carolina student senate elections were held. In one of the dorms both candidates running recieved a total of 72 votes. The guy beat the girl. Unfortunately for both of them, there were 73 write in votes for Trogdor the Burninator. So from now on, one of our student senators is Trogdor, the man himself, well, dragon-man, well, just dragon, but you get the picture.
I wonder if he will introduce a bill for burninating peasants?
(The above is a true story, no matter how stupid it may seem)

I used to go to school at the University of Alberta, and every year there would be a joke candidate for student union president. The joke candidate won every year.
Sadly, the joke candidate would be ignored, and the second place candidate would become the president. So much for democracy.

Well this candidate is not being ignored. The two who were actually running are quite upset. Someone is planning on showing up in a trogdor costume.
The real candidates are causing a fuss that it isnt fair. Big babies.

How sad that the BYUSA elections didn't have write-ins. Very very sad.
