My wife informed me last night that she has already told a number of people that we are expecting our third child. I did not realize that this news was fair game yet, so I am far behind in making my announcements.

I now offically announce that I expect to become a father for the third time, probably in late September.

The only real downside at this point is the "morning" sickness, which for my wife is not limited to the morning, and lasts far beyond the first trimester.

Congratulations! (and sympathies to your wife, for feeling icky most of the time)

When is the baby due?

Much sympathy to your wife, and wishes for a healthy and easy pregnancy.

That's great news. [Smile]

Erm. . .attorneys actually can't reproduce. Therefore, this pregnancy must be a figment of your imagination. Same to your kids.

Anthro, what does that make me? (child of two attorneys) ...am I magical?

No attorney I know would intentionally reproduce. That;s what paralegals and secretaries are for.

Congrats!

*looks around*
*notices that she has no cousins*

huh.
I guess attorneys can't reproduce. Who knew? Wonder if I can exchange half the middle generation in my family for ones who will yield me a few cousins...

As a fellow, U of I person, I would like to offer my congradulations.
I can also state that lawyers must reproduce somehow, there are more of them every year. I'm convinced that we will one day wake up to a world full of lawyers and starbucks.

I hear that lawyer mating season in upper Manhattan is a wonder to behold.

Lawyers can totally reproduce. It's seeing your reflection in a mirror that you can't do.

Oh, and congratulations.

...spake the psychiatrist. The only physical kids you people have are nine months after you put your patients under hynosis. You spend the rest of your reproduction time making mini-Squicks in people's heads...

Stop TALKING to me! It's not like anyone pays attention anyway...
