Ever since Calvin and Hobbes and The Far Side were stopped, I’ve basically ceased reading the comics. Fox Trot and Zits are both good, and Close to Home made losing The Far Side easier, but I’m no longer motivated enough to actually go look for comics. Does anyone here have online cartoons that they like? [EDIT: Meaning, ones I don't have to go out and buy a paper for]

That's not a complete list, but that's most of the comics I check daily. There's also a comics page or two, and a few other comics (such as 8 Bit Theater).

Its a very odd lot. Many of them, but not all, have extended plots. Three of them are by the same person. Several of them have crossovers occasionally (there's one going on right now between Kevin and Kell and General Protection Fault). Some are more geared towards special interest groups, such as geeks, or college students, or weirdos [Wink] . Others appeal to much more general audiences. Be warned that some of them may seem uninteresting at first, or require the rereading of the storyline from the beginning, or both, but all of them have some quality aspects to them. (One semi-caveat: there are vast storylines of sluggy freelance that can be skipped with no regrets. Its hilarious often, but it takes long sabbaticals from humor on occasion). Some have really, really good art, others are drawn by amateurs.

Also, they're in no particular order, so browse around a bit [Smile] . And many of their names belie their subjects.

Oh, and get fuzzy is on one of my comics pages, which is why I didn't mention it [Smile] .

PVP... I like that one a bunch.

But I read a ton of the ones that fugu linked.

RPG World <--- This one's good too.. I read the ones with extended plots... The best one for amusement from day to day is Sinfest. That one should really be in publication, but it's not.

I absolutely hate Get Fuzzy. I must be quite a bit different than many of you..

One site I always check to read cartoons is
Randy Glasbergen probably because a lot of his deal with the office environment ( much like Dilbert does).

My newspaper favorites are Zits and Foxtrot.

kwsni, I've read them. That's true, but they aren't new, and I'm rather farmilar with previous ones as you may have guessed... [Wink]

It doesn't take long to check that many webcomics. I have them all in a folder in my bookmarks list, and just use open in tabs so they all open in tabs of one window. Then once the first few have finished loading I go down the line and read them all, closing tabs as I go. Doesn't take very long at all, actually.

I don't find Get Fuzzy funny at all. My picks are Achewood, Toothpaste For Dinner, Red Meat and Friend Bear.

Oh, also Weebl & Bob.
