I can't remember how old this show is. Is was probably only around for a season. It took place in the future, and dealt with a future cop who i think they would send back in time to catch criminals who had escaped to the past. I don't remember much about the show at all. The main guy that they would send back would i think communicate with them through newspapers. he would put adds or listings in the newspaper classifieds i think and the guys from the future would pull up the old newspaper records of the agreed upon date and read his messages.

Anyone know what i'm talking about?
