Well, I managed to kill my pet lovebird in five minutes flat when I burned a teflon pan. She died in my hands, struggling to breathe. Now I educate every bird owner I meet about nonstick pans and other chemicals.

Thanks, Bob, I was going to mention Febreeze but I couldn't remember the name. Sometimes heat lamps and stove components have dangerous chemicals too.

You know, I've heard rumors of Febreeze's nasty effects on pets in general (and presumably people too), but I've never read anything concrete about it. Anybody know anything more about it.
