Rivka just did such a great job of researching slidewalks in my Lamp Post thread that it made me think of Kayla. Has anybody heard from her lately? I got an email message from her at the beginning of Dec, but I haven't seen her around since then, that I'm aware of.

I believe Kayla has left Hatrack, but she is occasionally over on sakeriver. Haven't seen her there for several weeks, though.

Did you try emailing her? Or try and not get a response?

Yes, she got mad at one of the post threads, (I can't find which one) and left.

I miss her too -- because she's from Kansas as well, and there aren't many Kansans on here.

I hope she comes back.

Nah, I wouldn't say she left because of that thread. I suspect that she, like most people around here, just wasn't enjoying the place enough to justify spending hours upon hours reading it [Smile]

Or, y'know, she just got occupied with "life".

I believe that she checks in periodically...

Caleb, tabithecat and I spent Thanksgiving with Kayla & family at their place. I really had a great time and I believe she mentioned checking into the 'rack every once in awhile.

So, she's probably reading this and giving us all a "mona lisa" right now!
