I think the add is short and to the point and well done. Even truthful. [Smile]

I don't want to play a video right now because I have kids working. I saw the ads . . . which one won? (title)

'Child's Pay'

You could play it for your kids and introduce them to the wonderful world of political spin. [Smile]

Child's PAY, people, Child's PAY

Not play.

Sheesh.

I still wish that "In My Country" had won.

Bok, "In My Country" preaches to the choir.

I dunno . . . I agree with Bok. I don't think the deficit motivates swing voters. I think putting our loss of rights into perspective does.

*whimper*

Sorry, Mr. Bok.

*runs away*

That one seems like it would be the best translated to television. It has that momentary questioning pause and then the "punchline" that makes it make sense. It had pretty good production values, too.

See, I think "Child's Pay" is unconvincing, and solely emotional heart-tugging. Now maybe that works, but if so, that's a major indictment of the average US voter, I think.

I think "In My Country" works better, because it can be framed in a "You believe in the Constitution, right?" way, such that knee-jerk conservatives can't argue that it doesn't matter, like they have with the deficits.

I think you'd better go ahead and indict the average US voter.

I still say "army of one" is most likely to change the most minds. Child's Pay is well made, but I think it's mostly preaching to the choir.

Could someone post the link to all of the entries? I can't find it.
