I got a letter from my Bishop yesterday, inviting me to be a part of a state-wide preaching academy. Apparently I was nominated by my district superintendent as a “preacher of exceptional passion.”

I’m excited. ‘Tis going to be very, very fun.

Plus it’s always good to know that the people who will be deciding your future appointments think well of your ability. [Big Grin]

I hope this won't mean you won't be available for Hatrack weddings and other religious rites. I firmly believe if DKW hasn't performed the wedding, you are just living in sin.

Will you be teaching at a preaching academy. Does this mean that you will be a Proffesor of Preaching?

If you get paid for it does that make you a Profesional Preaching Professor?

I believe its a Protestant denomination, so would you be a Professional Protestant Preaching Professor?

And since you are so well loved, will that make you a Popular Professional Protestant Preaching Professor?

Someday I hope to be a Popular Professional Protestant Professor, though not of Preaching. Probably.

For now, I’m just a Popular (I hope) Professional Protestant Preacher.
