Cake or death?

Eh, cake please.

Very well! Give him cake!

Oh, thanks very much. It's very nice.

You! Cake or death?

Uh, cake for me, too, please.

Very well! Give him cake, too! We're gonna run out of cake at this rate. You! Cake or death?

Uh, death, please. No, cake! Cake! Cake, sorry. Sorry...

You said death first, uh-uh, death first!

Well, I meant cake!

Oh, all right. You're lucky I'm Church of England! Cake or death?

Uh, cake please.

Well, we're out of cake! We only had three bits and we didn't expect such a rush. So what do you want?

Well, so my choice is 'or death’? I’ll have the chicken then, please.

Taste of human, sir. Would you like a white wine? There you go, thank you very much.

I command you to watch Dress To Kill if you haven't yet. Go! Now!

Oh, his first four albums are great. Excellent stand-up, possibly better than Richard Jeni.

His latest, though, The Circle, is a waste. It's recorded a decade after Dressed To Kill, and he's trying to hard to be cute instead of witty. I think he's in a middle-life crisis. The womanly kind.

Then again, maybe I'm judging it too harshly. "I like machines, they go meep, and I like it. Just, y'know, meep."

Eddie Izzard is very cool. I think I actually prefer him in drag, though. And did he do the voice the pelican in Finding Nemo, or does it just sound a lot like him?

[edit: I remembered that I can actually do my own research and discovered that it was Geoffrey Rush that did the pelican Nigel's voice. Oh well. It was a thought.]

I had the distinct pleasure of watching Dressed to Kill at Kayla's house with her hubby & son and Caleb and tabithecat and their friend Paul. It was a hoot. I laughed so much people were staring at me.

I was lucky enough to get to see him when he came this year to DC on his Sexie tour. The man is hilarious! I do get a little upset though when I realize the man looks better in fishnets then I do. [Roll Eyes]

I'm pretty sure he's responsible for one of my top ten all-time greatest laughing fits.
