Socks!

I really like socks. New tech, warm wicking socks that snug your feet and don't slide down. Socks that keep your feet warm even when they are soaking wet because your fishing waders have a hole in them. Socks that you pay $15 for which you think is insane, until you wear them in fishing wader that have a whole in them. You know, really good socks!

That is heading in the direction of happiness.

I'm not at all convinced that the author is female. I think that a lot of the things that are making people guess female are simply fantasy/gothic tropes. Could be female, could be male, don't know.

I do think the author is young.

I'm thinking somebody who likes animé, or comic books. This is all very visual.
