The place where I am chilling right now at SLCC has just put in one of those weird dancing platform thing-a-majiggies. It's just sitting there... alone... calling for someone to dance upon it. I tried one of those things before... on like, very very baby easy... I still lost in 15 seconds. I'm almost tempted to waste 20 bucks to try to at least beat the first level...

If it weren't for the people around, I think I would try it.

Darn, that machine is evil. How people can concentrate on those arrows flying around like bullets is beyond me.

I've never played, but I really enjoy watching people who are good play. Very impressive!

Good luck, T! And have fun. [Smile]

DO IT! It is seriously worth the $20 to beat the first level, though with a bit of practice it's not that hard at all.

My hint for immediate success: Don't think you have to get back in the middle before moving to the next arrow. You can leave one foot on the up arrow and put the other on another arrow [Wink]

SLCC? St. Louis Community College?

In my job I have had the priviledge to go to IAPPA's (International Amusment, Park , and Play Association or something like that) National Convention. This is where all the countries amusement parks, arcades, carnival companies and other play areas buy thier new toys. They have everything from donut makers to bungee jumps.

Its a very fun place (in Orlando in about a week actually, but I am not going this year.). My last time there they had several of these machines.

They were fun to play, but more fun to watch the models in body enhancing clothing using them.

The line of ogling players was only larger around the spandex wearing guides for the laser tag.

ITs fun and exercise.

I have some DDR jump pads in my basement that you can link up to a PS system. I LOVE it! I've wasted hours on that things but it's a great workout (I can't believe I just said that lol) and tons of fun so who cares? Anyways... Just wanted to boast of the few times I've gotten perfect scores (I failed soooooo much at the beginning that it isn't even funny hehe). [Wink] [Big Grin]
Anyway... just saying that this is a way-cool game and that it's definitely worth trying even if just for laughs. [Smile]

T_Smith/Hansjen, well it was worth a try.

ZGator, will try. Working on it for next year. I should have a couple new kids with me (adoption moving along nicely) and my father has informed us he IS taking them to Disney World. That ptus me in Orlando about the time of the convention. I'll work on getting it all arranged for one fun trip.

Dan, obviously, whether you can get me in or not, we'll all try to get together. So far, I'm 1 for 3 when jatraqueros come to town, but I keep trying.

If nothing else, you have the world's greatest Disney guides in Icarus and Cor.

DDR is NOT cool. In fact, it is the most horrible thing in the universe. You have never experienced pain until you have been setting up for a gig for 3 hours with nothing in the background but the phrase "Dance Dance Revolution!" being repeated into infinity.

The horror! The horror!
