This kid turned six months old yesterday, it's so wiggy. I call her my hatrack baby because when I was pregnant with her I got so depressed I started self-medicating with Hatrack. [Kiss]

The real test will be to see if you can get her first word to be "hatrack"

imogen, I can't tell if that would be cool, scary, hilarious, sad, or what. In fact, you just made my brain shut down in confusion.

::stupid glossy look::

If not "hatrack," the kid could start off with "meme", "onanism", "fluff", or "ad hominem." I still call my grandmother "Mema" because it was one of my brother's first words.

Your kid sounds like a real up-and-comer, Pooka!

By 8 months baby will be crying and won't stop until she gets her own user name (is Hatrack Baby taken?)

By age 14 months baby will be posting in the Last Post thread.

By age 18 months baby will be creating fluff threads. These will involve Teletubbies, the taste of plastic toys, and an in depth review of the Matrix trilogy.

By age 21 months baby will start its first serious thread, Disposable Diapers v.s. Cloth.

By age 36 months baby will create its own Landmark thread, describing in detail, her trials and tribulations with potty training.

Do not be afraid. This is normal development for Hatrack Babies.

Dan, if there weren't people around, I'd be on the floor crying and laughing.

I did already reserve a screen name for her, though I don't know if she'll want it by the time she knows how to read: pookg. She goes weekly, but not weakly. If you follow me.
