The door broke down?

Are you in a vault? Should we worry about your air supply? [Eek!]

Kama, the door broke down and you're locked in? [Confused]

Posted by Kama (Member # 3022) on :

Hee hee, the lock is broken. [Smile]

No worries. Except I can't get out [Razz]

Posted by eslaine (Member # 5433) on :

You could break down the door.

Posted by Scythrop (Member # 5731) on :

If you're happy with the situation, check out the helicopter game in the please amuse me thread. That should fill in a few hours waiting for the locksmith.

What time is it there in Poland?

Could you call your boss, or a locksmith?

Posted by Kama (Member # 3022) on :

Deadbolt?

Posted by Noemon (Member # 1115) on :

How many people are locked in there with you?

Are there windows? How high off the ground are they?

Posted by Kama (Member # 3022) on :

They already know. Lockmith on his way.

Posted by eslaine (Member # 5433) on :

Who's locked in there with you?

Posted by Kama (Member # 3022) on :

We actually even have small windows leading to the corridor, so there is a way out.

There are 4 of us in here, and the work doesn't finish for about 1,5 more hours, so there is no point going out through the small windows.

Posted by eslaine (Member # 5433) on :

What does one do when one climbs out the window and heads home in Poland?

Kama, it could be much, much worse. A few years ago I was alone in my apartment. Suddenly it literally sounded like a cattle stampede in the apartment directly above me-- I mean, it was LOUD, and it went on for a while. So I went outside and then upstairs and gathered with my fellow neighbors to see what was up. It was a man and a woman having a big fight. Someone phoned the police. The problem was, the doorknob was somehow broken during their struggles, and the door was jammed shut. The tiny apartment only had one door and 2 windows that couldn't be opened. So now the poor girl was trapped in a small apartment with a violent man. Anyway, apartment maintenance was summoned and they opened the door after a little while. The girl came out and appeared shaken, but she declined to press charges and left for good. Right before Atlanta's finest arrived the loser guy took off into the woods for awhile, and later got a security job with the apartments! It's a weird world, huh? [Frown]

You could start a fire in your wastebasket, just to make things more exciting.

"Just when I think I'm out, they pull me back in!" Al Pacino as Don Corleone in the Godfather part III.

Posted by Noemon (Member # 1115) on :

I still say that you should have set something on fire while you were waiting.

Glad I could lure you back celia!

Posted by Kama (Member # 3022) on :

Can I put something on fire now?

[Evil Laugh]

Posted by Noemon (Member # 1115) on :

Sure, it's never too late to set something on fire!

It'll give your coworkers something to talk about.

Hope you don't have to pee.

Wasn't there a thread a while back about someone who was trapped in their dorm room? That is what made me think of going to the bathroom. Well, that and CT "hope you have food and water." I'm kind of hoping you don't have water. [Wink]

Posted by Noemon (Member # 1115) on :

Well, they do have windows, so that takes care of the peeing problem.

Posted by Noemon (Member # 1115) on :

So, if Kama were to take my advice to heart, she'd be starting fires in her trash can and peeing out the windows.

Kama, don't take my advice to heart.

I really like Polish cookies. They sell "Hit" cookies here occasionally, and aside from being tasty and cheap, it's always fun to pass around a tray of them at a party and say "wanna take a Hit?"

Posted by Noemon (Member # 1115) on :

What are Polish cookies like?

Posted by Kama (Member # 3022) on :

A friend actually had to pee, so she crawled out through the window [Eek!]

And then came back through it [ROFL]

Polish cookies are good.

Posted by HollowEarth (Member # 2586) on :

damn, i wish i had a polish cookie. [Big Grin]

Posted by fugu13 (Member # 2859) on :

I don't understand why you don't just remove the hinges on the door.

Posted by Kama (Member # 3022) on :

Uh...cause i'm home already for like 4 hours?

Posted by Kama (Member # 3022) on :

Apparently, it was easier not to remove the hinges, and just force the lock out. Or something.

Do we have someplace to post:

Jatraquero quotes to live by

Or something?

Because I think this should go there.
