I have to say, regardless of my feelings about the film, that this is pretty darn amusing. Posted by Noemon (Member # 1115) on :
Ha! That's hilarious!

Seems someone else has an opinion about Mel's new movie, too... Posted by docmagik (Member # 1131) on :
I guess lighting can strike in the same place twice, if it really, really wants to.

The link article to the anti-semitic arguments was very interesting as well

You know, the first time you get an attempted ( ) electrocution standing on a hill holding an umbrella, maybe that would clue you in to NOT DOING THAT. That is pretty funny, though.

Am I the only one here who find this deeply Shocking?
(Or am I the only one here with the guts to make that comment?)

sorry - pet peeve correction:
It's not ELECTROCUTED, TheTick. The word electrocuted means they DIED in the shock. Fatal. Always
It is just "electrical shock" if they survive.

Even more shocking information.

This is an excellent story to tell to uninformed people. It is the sheer improbability mixed with the irony...

I stand corrected, although I'm curious how the misuse of such a rarely used word could become a pet peeve. It would be quite a shock to me that you would be exposed to electrocution so much. Posted by Mormo (Member # 5799) on :

The Tick. I'm curious too, Farmgirl--why does that get you so amped? Posted by TheTick (Member # 2883) on :
Watt are you talking about, Mormo??

Ayelar, before I degenerate into electrical puns, thanks for linking that, it is one freaky story!
I don't think you have the capacitance to understand, Tick.
