A brief history

Going back almost 2 years ago... my Ex left and cleaned my clock so to speak. Financially that is. Every penny of my income went to paying off what she took (Bank, computer, checks *I* bounced because she emptied the checking account etc...)for over 6 months.

Fast forward to today:

I met a wonderful lady through Newsgroups. What started as just being friends has blossomed into something more. 4 Greyhound trips (and 8 months) later, we have decided to become a family unit [Smile]

We have so many compatabilities its almost scarey. She takes care of me and I take care of her. She insisted that I get my dental work done ASAP. She got me my new glassses so I could see. NOTHING like the Ex who was only concerned about herself.

Now I am a Househusband. And I've never been happier. We're going to South Carolina in 2 weeks to retrieve my belongings (what little I have) and my chihuahuas. A long 900 mile trip but one that will put the final touches on us becoming a family.

She's a great person and I'm proud to call her my Lady.

Anyhoo... after all this rambling it boils down to this:

I'm the luckiest guy on the planet (in my not so humble opinion [Big Grin]

Congratulations. It is difficult, if not impossible, to put into words the joy that can come from sharing your life with a wonderful person. Hope it continues to be marvelous (I am sure it will!)!
