"There ain't no 'G' in Marlinton"

It was on another thread (Happy Camper): You &# 9835 (with no space in between) or &# 9834 (also with no space in between.

well, in tennessee, you'll be happy to know, the lawmakers specifically made sure that it wasn't illegal to bring roadkill home for dinner.

Erik, you ARE a free range turkey.

Ah, I see, I figured that it was out there somewhere, as I remember seeing Papa Moose put em in recently and people were asking about it, but I didn't catch the explanation. Thanks. Oh, and by the way, that is part of an actual song for those who didn't know. I've never been to Marlinton myself, but we've (the organization I work for) done some stuff there in the past.

*edit* to clarify who "we" are.

Wish I was closer - I have appropriate attire:

Tshirt - Roadkill Cafe - You kill 'em, we grille 'em (Front)

(Back): Roadkill Cafe Menu - we'll put a dent in your appetite.

ENTREES:

Corvair Bair
Sun Bake Snake
Amtrak Elk
Shish Ka Bob White
Center Line Bovine (tastes real good straight from the hood)
Flat Cat (served as a single or in a stack)
Bloat Goat ((naturally aged)

GUESS THAT MESS - Daily Special
Guess what it is and you eat free!

Other Menu sections include "Canine Cuisine," "Taste of the Wild Side," and
"Headlight Delight."

In the t-shirt category..

Front, skull and crossbones over left part of heart.

On back, another small skull and crossbones and
"The beatings will continue until morale improves"

I passed a dead racoon on the way to work this morning - you all want that? [Big Grin]

The Montana version of that shirt reads

Road kill cafe: From your grill to ours.

Mac, then you must be a free-range Mad-Owl! (And we love you for it!)

Best thing to do, hit a deer. Last you for weeks.

mack, you made me spit lemonade all over my screen!

Posted by Koga (Member # 5646) on :

If this thread has thought us anything, it is that that lemonade is still good you just need to wipe it off your screen and ring it out back into the glass.

Posted by rivka (Member # 4859) on :

Seems to leave the screen nice and shiny, too. Luckily, none got onto my keyboard.

Posted by Koga (Member # 5646) on :

see, the screen is clean and lemony fresh, and the lemonade is still good, and just slightly more dusty.

Posted by imogen (Member # 5485) on :

More like clean and sugar-y fresh.

Lucky it wasn't coke - you may have eroded the screen right away!
