Yea I'm new here. I found this place out from my good friend Polemarch. He tells me that I'd likethis forum so I registered. Please take me openly and kindly... I'd sure hate to ruin first impressions.....

Welcome.
And don't succumb to the sicko newbie need to be burninated by Trogdor. Stand strong, just say no to burnination.

Welcome, TG.
We don't bite. Well, ok, some of us do. But we're nice -- well, except when . . . hmm.
Welcome, TG!

Well hello. It appears they've alreay shortened your name to an abreviaton. They've never done that for me... *Cries*
Edit: Damien... do you die frequently? Or did my name cause you to go into cardiac arrest? MUHAHAHAH!

See, the trick to getting your name shortened is to have two capital letters (or two words) in your name. Like mine, for instance shortens very nicely to HC. Yours would have been abbreviated much sooner had you made your nick PoleMarch. See how that works? Oh, and welcome TG. You'll like it here. Good people, from what I gather in my lurking disposition. *points notedly at April '03 registration date and low post count, then goes back to lurking*

Well, i realized that, but there's no way to change it now. Also, I must add- Everyone butchers the pronunciation of this word- it's Polem-Arch. Greek for war-ruler (effectively, a captain or a major). Not Pole-March.

Haha Seems like this group is gonna be nice. Apparently I'm already tastey enough to be bitten

I always like it when someone asks to be "taken" and they want it "openly and kindly".

Kayla is not 'down' with today's youth and their 'wacky' lingo.
Posted by Ralphie (Member # 1565) on :
And, see, I think the young people like it when she "gets down" verbally.
(EG needs to be on AIM, btw)
edit: Oh, and welcome n00b.

Oh, I'm "down" with their language. After all, I have one of them living in my house. I just often think it would be nice if they figured out our language and this seemed like a decent opportunity to expand someone's horizons.
Ralphie, usually, when I get down, I end up in the gutter, which is a place I'm trying to avoid after reading about all those whistles yesterday.

Well I am gratefully educated with a vast vocabulary...... Unfortuneatly, I'm a teenager who lives in a place where we speak in fragmented sentences and/or use absolutely made-up words. Oh well. Great to meet you all. And I doubt I'll be going anywhere for a while so I guess Icarus will be able to bite me whenever
and I agree Youth ap Orem.. Round faces Rule!
Posted by Polemarch (Member # 3293) on :
I do admit that that whole "speaking in fragments" thing is definitely a problem. It makes conversations a new and interesting exercise in problem solving, though.

Did someone offer supper?
*Looks around suspiciously*
Well, if Icarus nibbled, I might try, too. But I warn you, I am a notoriously picky eater.
Welcome to Hatrack - enjoy your stay!

Go the frick away.
Posted by Polemarch (Member # 3293) on :
Indeed, I do, Ghost, indeed I do. And who said anything about onanism?
Posted by TanithGhost (Member # 5719) on :
