Likely preaching to the choir here on the specific nuances of our existence that might tip the scales from chronic discomfort to rapture (or computer/couch-potato coma to a spring in the step).
I could use a few More courteous dog-owners and Less leash laws.

"less" really stops looking like a proper word when you write it so many times. Just like some words stop sounding like real words when you say them lots... Or is that just me?!

Fewer soldiers, more pirates!
Toretha made a shirt that has that on it. Actually, hers says "less soldiers, more pirates", but I want mine to be grammatically correct, so when I make it, "less" will be replaced by "fewer".

It's not just you, tonguetied.
The word 'think', repeated many times, loses all meaning for me.

T&T, a fullstop is not so much a period as a question mark?

More is better I'd say, filetted.
More people posting on Hatrack at this time of night, less of me being bored.
Posted by tonguetied&twisted (Member # 5159) on :
Is a fullstop not a period? Is a fullstop a question mark?
Posted by filetted (Member # 5048) on :
fullstop/period - depends on the overall use of the punctuation.
what do you perceive?
Posted by tonguetied&twisted (Member # 5159) on :
Well my dictionary says: full stop n. a punctuation mark (.) used at the end of a sentence or an abbreviation.
Which is precisely what I thought a full stop was. I'm confused as to how it could be a question mark?
