Hey Lisa...

I think you were the one who introduced me to Super. I have just downloaded a really good quality .flv file, but when I convert it in Super the quality is abnormally bad.

I set it to Top Quality in the options, but it is still not acceptable. Is there somewhere else in Super I can modify to keep the quality as close to the original as possible? I am thinking working with the FPS or saving it in another format besides .avi.

Any help will be appreciated. Thanks!

What version are you using? They just released a new version, and I had a lot of trouble with it, so I uninstalled it and went back to the previous one (SUPERsetup23.exe).

What are you converting it to? Mpeg?

There are some more freeware apps here, but I haven't tried any of them. I've used the Riva FLV viewer, but not their encoder, which they have on that page. I don't know if it converts from FLV or only to it.

I am using the newest version. I have kept all the default settings, so I am converting to AVI files. Maybe I can try the setup23.exe file.

AVI as in DivX or XviD, or uncompressed AVI?

To convert FLV files? What does it convert them to? Just VOBs?

I am not sure if i have ever used it on FLV files, but I think I have. Yeah, if it works it converts them to VOB files.

I don't think I have ever downloaded something that it couldn't convert, but I usually stick to TV shows.

On the QT, the volume of TLAs is making me LOL.

(And I get most of them! Gah! I can't believe my mind stores some of this stuff!)
