Nah. It's a total rip-off sequel. They're just coasting on the amazing quality of free sex video 4564 and threw 4565 together in a slashdash fashion with low quality talent. It's like a made for video Disney movie.

That's true. They recaptured the light-hearted mood of 4564 while introducing a sense of seriousness and a treatment of issues that really got me to question how I viewed the world.

As an aside, the true connoisseir of the free sex video series should really get the German language translation of 4566. It was a movie deeply entrenched in its American idiom and the attempt to translate it over to a different language and culture yielded some delightfully hillarious results.

You guys are only demonstrating your youth and relative inexperience with the series. It has been on a downward trend since the controversial 2012-2027 story arc. (circa 1977)

There's always some pre-2000er who has got to throw their two cents in. Look, I get that your nostalgic recollection has the earlier movies as these great pinnacles of art and I'll grant that Peter O'Toole's portrayal of recurring character Wrong Turn Sol during that period is a thing of genius, but judged by today's standards, they just can't compete.
