The central plant for my employer, the one that supplies work for every other plant in the company, has had a lot of problems shipping the work due to inclement weather conditions.
It's cut into our hours, and our paychecks.
Today I learned that things go so bad, they shut the central plant down, and there may not be a shift until the middle of next week.
It's not that the work is no longer there...it just can't reach us.
I'm sure we'll be working major over time the moment the work's able to get through...but until then things are going to be very difficult for me.

Things are so slow at the restaurant I work at (and have been since January) that my hours have been cut from 25-30 to 15-20. I'm barely able to pay my bills every month these days. Sure we know it's going to pick up for March Madness and playoffs, but it's rough until those times come.

The University overpaid me by about a thousand dollars on my last biweekly paycheck. And the lazy bitch responsible for these things is not responding to my gentle reminder emails.
