Some constructive criticism would be helpful.

From a quick look -- I don't get what the ninjas have to do with the roadside diner theme, or what the cars have to do with the ninjas. Then I figured out that the cars don't have anything to do with the ninjas, but they do connect with the diner theme! But that took me entirely too long to figure out, at first it just seemed disjointed and busy. I like nice, simple design. So to me, the dark patterned background is also confusing and distracting. From your user name on the board, it seems to be tying into a dark, gothy theme.

Basically, I'd pick one of those three things -- diner, ninjas, or goth, and go with it. Putting all three in there just makes it confusing and makes none of them work. [Smile]

Also, there are a lot of subfora. I'd stick all the entertainment ones together, and politics & news together. What's your purpose in having a forum? Who do you hope to attract? Is it primarily for your friends and family to hang out at? If not, how are you going to drive traffic to it? I think answering those questions will help you figure out a structure that will work for you. [Smile]

Ok, got rid of ninjas. I was bored when I put them in. And I combined the subfora of the one. An' dropped the politics.

I like the new diner graphic, although I'd still have the name up there somewhere. The forum list is somewhat less intimidating now. [Wink] Good luck!

at least it's not dangerous. it just won't let you do anything. you'll finish a post and the next thing you know you're searching Google. Trying to see if I can fix it w/o having to delete the entire thing. I'm not moding anymore.

Say, Steverogers, I had to make a new board man. I haven't deleted the old one, but uh, it also won't let me delete it.

But, the new one is here. [Smile]

thanx. I'm going to have to talk to the admin guys and figure out how the heck I can get rid of or fix the old one.

As far as the new one. I have to get the topic headers to be thinner, but not to distort the lettering.

cheiros do ender, the guest room is good for everyone. I made the others as registered members only for I believe obvious reasons. Well, that is except for rules and archives. anyone can view the rules, but not post (at least not reply to the rules thread). The archives, as it only should appear on the registered member screen, can only have anything added to it via a moderator or admin. After all, if it's being placed in archives it's a dead topic right?

The whole premise is built on privacy more or less.
