Yeah. I think I'll be the best person-that-they-call-aunt-but-isn't-really-related. I'll get the baybee something like this . Gotta get 'em started early.

That is a gift for the aunt, not the baby. At least not until s/he's tall enough to reach it without standing on anything, I think that's the criteria Dad had for us using power tools.

So I should cancel the one I ordered for my niece? It's her 2nd birthday on Christmas, too.

Oooh, now I want this skirt for Sophie! Or maybe the kitty hat -- not to be confused with the devils hat *giggle* because we all know that horns and ears are different. [ November 19, 2004, 09:18 AM: Message edited by: Christy ]

You definately should order one for yourself, ElJay -- and every time you go out on the town with your new little neice/nephew, you should dress in matching outfits! That would just steal the show.... FG

Now if I could just convince my building that silk button down dress shirts are NOT labcoats, I'd be in business. No less than four people today have made some comment about my nice labcoat. *sigh*

1. So? They're gonna love me. They won't remember the silly things I sent as gifts when they were infants. 2. As a dedicated non-parent, don't you think I plan on making all of those arrangements myself, in advance? Even if I didn't, as y'all's children will undoubtably realize that they are my heirs, I think I won't have any problems. Now imagine their consternation at the reading of my will when they realize I left it all to charity.

You can wonder if you want, but I can flat out guarantee that ElJay is not going to be an aunt in the next 9 months. Unless Enigmatic has something to tell us.

resurrecting this thread = ElJay found a cool toy that she can't justify buying for herself Nothing more, nothing less. This way they're all in one spot so I can remember 'em later.
