For all of you Enya listeners out there, if you haven't already heard, she has a new album out. I really like the whole album, except for one song.Check it out.
I should get some royalties for boosting her cd sales now

I liked her first album (The Celts) the best; is the new one more like her first, or more like her later ones?

The Celts is also my favorite plaid. (I really do love all of them though.)
This new one reminded me of Shepherd Moons/Memory of Trees. It's still pretty different though, definitely a unique album. I was shocked because there was no piano solo on it. I'm used to sitting at the piano and picking out track one of all of her albums (Watermark, From Where I am, etc) and this one didn't have it! Shocking!
There are some gorgeous pieces on this album though. She sings more. I mean, really sings out, with some vibrato and great text. The pieces done with Loxian text (where is Loxian language from anyway?) are the best of course, but "Amid the Fallen Snow" and "If I could be where you are" are delightful as well. My favorite is track 7. I can't even remember what it's called, but it's lovely.
There are only 2 that I really don't care for, but they end up growing on me anyway.

I'm not sure which ones I would say it is more like. Almost all the songs seem unique to me, moreso than her last album at least, a Day Without Rain.
But then again, it's hard to say with Enya. It's hard not to like all her songs, even when so many are so similar.

Have any of you ever listened to A Piano Tribute to Enya? I bought it a few months ago,and I think it's amazing.

The new Enya cd is great! At least I think so, but a lot of that simply comes from the fact that her music seems to calm me down no matter how angry I get.
