They've postponed it 3 or 4 times, so don't get too excited yet.
But I've been looking forward to this since my senior year of high school. There's an indie theater in Norfolk called the Naro, and I saw it there at a late show. I know someone who had the laserdisc, but never found it on VHS or DVD.

It used to be on VHS. A copy was at my local video story for years. It was my favorite movie as a kid. They even showed it on tv once in a blue moon.
But then the tape disapeared...I asked the story people and they said I could order the tape from the company...but for $80! But a friend had a copy (the $80 tape) and I borrowed it from him. Hehehe... and made a copy! And that stayed with me for years...but that too vanished eventually!
So I've been without Rock & Rule for like six years. And I miss it.
